In October 2016, GSA opened its first management project on behalf of Schwarzman College at Tsinghua University, Beijing. China is now one of the largest destinations for international students worldwide and is becoming a powerful force in the higher education landscape. Tsinghua University is one of China’s leading universities with more than 46,000 students from 120 countries.
GSA has worked closely with the Stephen A Schwarzman Education Foundation to deliver a world-class cohesive living and learning environment for global leaders of the future.
Our onsite team is now managing the newly built state-of-the art academic and residential facility, which features 200 student beds, state-of-the-art teaching facilities including classrooms, auditorium, international conference centre, library and on-site gym.
The official opening of the college was attended by several VIPs including the former Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, who is a member of the program’s advisory board, China’s Vice Premier Liu Yandong and Stephen Schwarzman, founder of the Scholars program.
