In 2016, GSA launched its Australian business, following the disposal of our interests in Urbanest Australia. During 2016, we secured six developments across Melbourne, Sydney and Perth.
Going forward, we aim to leverage its experience and global platform to deliver a market leading student accommodation experience with a target of securing 25,000 beds under management by 2025 in the Asia Pacific region.
Pelham Street | Melbourne
Located on Pelham Street in Carlton, University Square is a 345-bed development, which opened in July 2018. The building offers students a wide selection of fully furnished en-suite rooms, studios and shared apartments, and is conveniently located across the road from The University of Melbourne.
We have partnered on this development with HSBC.
Infinity Place | Melbourne
Situated on Elizabeth Street in the Melbourne CBD, Infinity Place is a 335-bed development, which opened its doors to students in April 2019. The building features a variety of studio and shared apartments, extensive communal study spaces and a Level 17 garden terrace.
Infinity Place is also located across the road from our first property, University Square. Together the two properties are designed to provide students an interconnected community next to The University of Melbourne and in close proximity to RMIT University.
The Boulevard | Perth
The Boulevard, which opened in February 2019, offers state of the art amenities and an unparalleled level of student accommodation in Perth. The dramatic design of the development features an outdoor swimming pool, a rooftop cinema, spacious apartments and sweeping rooftop views of the Perth CBD. This building is our first biggest development in Australia, offering 573 student beds.
